about

Music for the Swiss Television (SRF) Documentary on Johannes Itten (by Marina Rumjanzewa), a pioneer of the Bauhaus movement who developed it's teaching methods, which are still taught in the best art colleges today. He then founded his own art school in Berlin, and eventually had to flee from the Nazis back to his homeland Switzerland. Also featuring music from the Swiss TV documentary on groundbreaking minimalist photographer Hans Danuser, and his photo expedition in the Gobi Desert of China, a meditation on time, erosion and memory.
